Biography
I was born in Wales and trained originally as a Printmaker gaining an Honours degree in Fine Art from Bristol Polytechnic in 1983 before studying for a PGCE in 1994 at Christchurch Canterbury, and embarking on a teaching career.
I returned home to Wales in 2008 to study for a Masters Degree in Ceramics at University of Wales Institute Cardiff. This allowed me time to explore and develop my ideas and skills through a challenging new material.

I began to draw on processes I used when printmaking, and it was here I embarked upon my exploration into a ‘Sense of Place’ and my relationship with the land in which I was born.
Today, I divide my time between working part time, still within education and Fireworks Clay Studios in Cardiff.
